June Armstrong's Paint Box contains thirteen pieces on the theme of colour, suitable for pianists at a beginner-grade 1 standard.
The pieces in this collection are almost entirely written in five finger position. In some of them there are simple hand position changes, but all should be accessible to pre grade 1 players. Each piece is designed to convey the mood or the suggestion of the colour of its title.
