Bryce Dessner’s Impermanence is commissioned by the Australian String Quartet and Sydney Dance Company. This commission has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body. The first performance took place on 21 March 2020 at Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay, Sydney.
