Cette édition comporte un grand nombre de mélodies classiques et romantiques dans des arrangements pour deux flûtes.
La sélection des pièces romantiques comprend, entre autres, des oeuvres de Ernesto Köhler, Louis Drouet, Wilhelm Popp, Anton Bernhard Fürstenau.
Le cas échéant, les travaux ont été transformés en une touche plus approprié et plus large pour la flûte. En raison de la difficulté modérée, ils sont bien adaptés à des fins pédagogiques.
