This composition was written as a compulsory piece for the International Tadeusz Wro?ski Solo Violin Competition 2025 in Warsaw. The competition is the only one for solo violin to date and is one of the most difficult of its kind with highly virtuoso works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Béla Bartók, Eugène Ysaÿe and Henryk Wieniawski. The Polish composer Krzysztof Meyer is contributing a new virtuoso piece for the seventh edition with his commissioned work Con effetto.
