The orchestral suite Symphonic Dances Op. 45 from 1940 is Rachmaninoff's last work. Almost at the same time, he wrote an arrangement of the piece for two pianos which he played with Vladimir Horowitz in a private setting. The French composer Jean Guillou has now arranged the Symphonic Dances for two organs.
