Francesco Pollini (Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia, 03/26/1762 – Milan 09/17/1846) was an Italian composer, teacher and pianist. According to ancient encyclopedias, Pollini studied or had contacts with Mozart in Vienna; he studied composition in Milan with the excellent teacher and man of vast musical knowledge Nicola Zingarelli.
