Duo Concertant is a pretty Flute duet by Jind ich Feld that lasts approximately fifteen minutes. An explanation of the symbols used is given at the beginning of the score. Written in the unique genre of its composer, this difficult duet is divided into five sections. I. Introduzione - Lento II. Toccata & Allegro assai III. Intermezzo - Tranquillo IV. Scherzo & Allegro vivo V. Epilogo - Lento This great piece is perfect for a recital or a concert. Jind ich Feld was born in Prague in 1925. From a musician family, he specialised in Viola and Violin. He composed numerouspieces with a style that mixes his origins and occidental music from the 20th century. He later became composition professor operating worldwide.
