The Guitarclass is a two-volume anthology in which the selected material is organised into thematic areas that use a group of studies and compositions ordered by difficulty for each technique or obstacle to be addressed. The complete work features over 120 pieces ranging from Renaissance to contemporary music. The author has pursued the goal of moving beyond a chronological approach to the repertoire. This criterion ensures that teachers can reduce the time needed to identify pieces suited to the technical and musical needs of their students and avoid having to refer to different publications during lessons, while allowing students to focus on studying one difficulty at a time.
