Description :

Reine Frauensache! will be released on occasion of the German Choir Festival in Stuttgart in May 2016. Divided into four sections (Secular, Sacred, Folklore and Popular) the collection covers newer compositions which are part of the repertoire of many women's choirs already as well as ageless beautiful titles from older eras- music spans from Palestrina, Telemann, Gounod, Brahms, Distler and Chaminade to Nancy Telfer, Sandra Milliken, Sarah Quartel and Eriks Ešenvalds.
The editor's focus is on musical quality, well singable, mostly 3-4part titles to meet the capabilities of non professional singers and moreover on the quality of texts. It is a highly vivid collection with attractive compositions from different origins, genres and eras - a treasure trove for those interested in women's choirs.
