Anthology of First Duets HARRISON PHIL
2 Cuivres en Clé de Sol Musique pour orchestres et ensembles
Description :
Once you have learned the basic notes and fingerings, you should go onto playing along with others. In many, if not all cases, it will speed up your progress and will be more enjoyable than just individual playing. These duets are intended to be easy, fun, gently challenging and be of educational value for teachers and pupils alike. They start off at a pretty simple level, but get more challenging as they go, gradually working from a low-medium range to a higher mid-range. One of the main objectives is to get players used to listening to one another while, at the same time, making sure of their own part, and in a register that is hopefully not too taxing. Each duet has it's own challenge, or combination of challenges, such as: rhythm, tricky fingerings, breathing, pitching and tuning. There's no necessity to start at the beginning of this collection to work through methodically, although do feel free to do that if you wish. Phil Harrison
